Hi,

Marmalade has this little piece of black flaky skin on his grease gland, and toast doesn’t seem to have this. Any ideas would be great! Thank you xx!

It’s probably just wax build up, if it’s looks sore at all pop him round to the vets. My two boars have very over active grease glands which are a nightmare to clean. Try rubbing a little coconut /olive oil on and leave for 10 minutes then rinse off with a mild/baby shampoo.

Most likely a buildup of grease, I use a baby wipe on my boys but some might need a soak to loosen it a bit

Hi! I would think that it is was build up. Too much wax hat is blocking the grease gland can cause an infection. Please see a vet if the area is looking inflamed/reddened with light skin, swollen and hot to the touch.

Hi, thank you so much for your great advice. Thankfully, it just dropped off after a few days.
