So my black piggie Daisy has black toe nails. I don't know where the quick is on her foot so I don't know how far to cut. Does anyone know how to deal with this?
There’s a video on YouTube (if I remember correctly) that says it helps to shine a light underneath the nail so you can see the quick. Our boys have black toenails so I just trim and stop before I think I need to cut some more off. I’ve cut them too short a couple of times hence why I’m now over cautious.
