Hello
I'm new to the site - I'm Mum to Poppy and Misty. Having some issues with Misty
She has been back and forth to the vet for the last two and a half months and at first it was a suspected bladder stone/sludge but an X ray came back clear. She was crying when she was peeing so it was then thought it was a UTI and Cystitis. We got Metacalm and powder to line her bladder as well as antibiotics and it seemed to work a bit but it was back two weeks later.
We have now had 5/6 sets of antibiotics and she is still passing brownish urine. She seems to be in no pain at all and is running about and eating as normal.
The last time I was at the vet he checked her urine and we found she had a calcium build up as I have totally changed her diet and given her as much water via a syringe that I can and I have to take her back this Friday where she will get an X Ray to see i there are stones/sludge. I have also started to give her Cystease
I'm so so worried about her :-( Excuse the long rambling post but I just wanted to ask if anyone else has a piggie with these issues and if they can live with this staining of the urine ( not feeding her anything that would colour it)
Thank you so much
