Hello everyone, I’ve made a few posts on here regarding my poppy who had a stone removed in October. And has since continued with urinary issues. I’m just looking for some more advice really. Over the last week she has been passing more sludge than normal I will post some photos below. Diets stayed the same, on filtered water, no pellets, low calcium veg although found out my parents gave them a tiny amount of spinach in the week😭she’s on a variety of meds including glucosamine in the form of nutracyst, gabapentin, metacam and potassium citrate. She drinks well from the water bottles but also takes a few ml every evening with me and all veg is served wet and she eats plenty of cucumber to help keep her bladder flushing through. But I just don’t like this sludge that is being passed. It doesn’t feel gritty when I touch it. I just wondered if anyone had any further advice. All four pigs have received treatment for eye ulcers/haypoke/grass seed poke over the last few weeks (can’t believe out luck lol) seems to be a bad batch of hay.
Any further advice is welcome. She is otherwise a happy girl. Other than her squeaky wees at times. She seems to be gaining weight and keeping her weight on, not off her food, thankfully. However she is hopefully going back on sulfatrim this week as she was on it last month and I noticed a big difference not that it aids in calcium deposits, but as soon as the sulfatrim was stopped she was sore again. And since our vets been off for three weeks we’ve not been able to put her back on it yet❤️

I forgot to say we don’t eliminate calcium completely as I know that can in turn cause issues. I’ve read the guides for bladder pigs on here. But I’m just wondering if anyone can advice further on a good diet that can find the “sweet spot” for the calcium requirements. Thank you xx
