As some of you will know, Eliza had an eye removed on Monday which she is currently recovering from.
I'm not sure if she has bladder sludge or not but as she is currently living on fleece, I have noticed a few calcium deposit areas
I know that this is normal but these deposits have a yellowish tinge to them and feel in between powdery and gritty although I'm not 100% certain.
I have waited for her to pee a couple of times and rubbed the fresh pee between my thumb and finger and all feels normal.
All my piggies are already in a low calcium diet so I'm nit sure what to do as the last thing I want is for her to have bladder problems!
Eliza is already taking Baytril and metacam for her eye so it isn't like I can give her Septrin on top.
I am just wondering if the Baytril will help to kill off any nasties if there is anything present, the deposits could may be from the meds she is currently taking and if there is anything else I can do?
Or may be I am being overly cautious?
Eliza is back at the vets on Monday for her second post op check so I could always ask advise then xx
