Now monitoring your thread......so glad to hear there is a diagnosis, action and that she should be now recovering.
I have had several guineas spayed over the last few years ...they have recovered with no problems....You just need to make sure they keep eating regularly in the early days following the op (it does no harm to give critical care or Supreme Recovery to "top them up" ....not necessarily by syringe but on a spoon) Also keep checking the wound area so that if by any remote chance it does become infected you can take action quickly
Sounds like this op should sort our her problems......but if a UTI problem rears its ugly head... .then please let me know by PM if you need the barley gloop recipe.....
