Yes, as Helen says,Bumble is always having x-rays (got to have another one on Monday to see if he has managed to wee out the stones that have now been flushed into the bladder) only a small quick whiff of gas is usually needed.

if the vet has done this before to other pigggies then i would kinda say have it done. becuase piggies are good at hiding there pain. but you do have to pay about £500 for it to be done. but if the vet says she badly needs it then yeah if you have the money. Ifg you have it done and she starts to behaving odd and stops drinking and taking food and the colour of her eyes go then i would say she is in deep pain, and i would have her go to sleep but hopfully it dont happen I'm sure she will be fine but its up to you if you have the money and your sure you want it to happy xx

So we went to the vet on Friday. He was quite keen for her not to have the op but after looking at her declining weight thought maybe she would have to have it after all. Got some new medicine for her to have until I could get her booked in. Went out for a few hours yesterday, came back and she was gone. I'm absolutely devastated. I honestly thought she'd get better especially with so many others having similar problems. Thanks you all for your advice, I really appreciate it. If anyone has any recommendations for crematoriums near Manchester that would be great x
