Poor Benji is having more bladder trouble. He's had stones a couple of times and had them removed with surgery, but last time the stone had become stuck to the bladder and caused so much damage that when they put him back together the vet warned me that because of the scarring of the bladder wall, they'd not be able to do it again as they wouldn't be able to close the wound (this was around 12 months ago)
He's on potassium citrate, Septrin and metacam at the moment as we try to make him more comfortable and he's getting extra syringe feeds just to make sure he keeps eating, but at the moment it doesn't seem like the vets have anything else to add.
He's not passing any blood, though he's only leaking pee rather than actually urinating and although his poops are smaller than usual, they're still fairly normal (he's also taking probiotics).
He's 5 1\2 and hovering around 980g at the moment, usually he's 1060g.
I can tell he's not 100% but he's still interested in food and is moving around so both he and I will keep fighting until we run out of options.
Just wondered if anyone had any ideas? Is there anything else I can try? Would it be worth getting a second opinion?

Oh poor baby, I really hope it turns out okay. I'm sorry I have no experience but I do hear people always talking about very low calcium diets for piggies prone to stones.

I hope little Benji starts feeling better. I wish I could help. Cuddles for you and Benji from across the pond in USA from Snuggles and I.

@BertisKing You could ask your vet or another to xray him to see if surgery could be done again.

My bladder stone pig was also on Cystease in hope that it would help with his bladder. Also when he was in a lot of pain we used Tramadol for pain relief.

I've started him on cystease today (luckily I have some in for one of my cats) to see if it will make him comfier.
I'm going to ring my vets tomorrow and speak to the vet who operated on Benji (the one I saw this week only read his notes)
Benji is well known at the surgery following the massive stink I kicked up when they scanned the wrong piggy last time so I'm hoping he'll be able to offer more advice.

A little update on Benji. I spoke to the vet today and he reviewed the last surgery op notes and scans and is very doubtful that any further surgery would be successful. The plan was to take him in for another scan tomorrow to see if they could offer any treatment but unfortunately when I got home from work I found that Benji is now completely off his legs and is incontinent.
His pain meds have been upped to keep him comfortable and pain free tonight.
The hardest part is he's still trying to reach out to me and he's been tempted with a bit of cucumber and tomato, wheeking a little when I put him down, but as I look at him now curled on his side on a hot water bottle, I can tell all the fight has gone out of him and he just looks so tired.
I'll be sitting with him tonight then if we need to, we'll be making that final trip to the vets tomorrow.

I’m so sorry, I’ll be keeping you and benji in my thoughts xx

My old boar sky went off his legs and incontinent on his last days with cancer. I took him for his final trip the moment he collapsed fully sideways. But he passed away half way there in my wifes hands. My thoughts are with you too.

Benji is obviously a much loved piggy and you are doing your best for him. Thinking of you both and sending big hugs. xx

So sorry for your loss. Little paw prints left on our hearts. Benji is now with all our other great pigs across the rainbow bridge. Hugs from across the pond.
