My darling Biscoff is prone to stones and we want to do everything we can to mitigate them. We have reduced the high oxalate veg, changed to low calcium & grain free pellets, dropped the readigrass down to an occasional sprinkle and are filtering the water.
I have read that glucoasime can also be helpful, but didn't know where to start with where to get it and how much to give?
Is there anything else we can do to help her?

Pigture added because she's so darn cute, but I'm not sure why it is sideways? 😂

I’m sorry to hear this.

Glucosamine can help coat the bladder to protect it against the corrosive effects of urine, but it won’t prevent bladder stone formation.

Stones are formed due to an imbalance in the diet and/or genetics - often a bit of both.
Balancing the diet so it isn’t too high or too low in calcium is all we as owners can do.

There is an issue with adding pictures causing them to come out upside down or side ways at present

Morning - one week after bladder stone removal today. We use piggy parcels urinary pellets - it may not be an instant like but they have glucosamine in them - have a look and see what you think. Good luck
