My piggie Gonzalez is in hospital with bladder stones in his uretha. The vet says he is going to try and flush the stones through. If this does not work then he will need to operate. Has anyone had any experience of this with their piggie. I am gutted.

My boy Patrick had stones in his uretre - which is the other tube the one connecting Bladder and kidneys. He had major surgery to remove them we're 6 post operation and my little guy is pain free!

I hope your little one has a similar outcome, if your boy does have surgery please be aware he will be very groggy and will need supportive care to get him though it.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask, we will do our best to advise of course any medical questions should always be directed at your vet.
