Blathers

Thank you! Especially Blathers who had to spend a year in that tiny hamster cage with his previous owners. I don’t even mind that it takes up so much of my living room 😂
Somehow they take over your heart along with your house! 😆

My first 2 piggies only had the Ferplast 100 when I got them. We didn't really know that time how big is the required home for them, even though hubby has been keeping guinea pigs for a long time. After just a few months, we started getting a bigger home for them because I asked hubby to buy them a bigger house. Then the 2-floor hutch still isn't big enough for them so I started letting them out running in our living room during daytime and just lock them in the hutch during bed time. Eventually, I just decided to attached C&C at the bottom of their hutch so they still have a big space whenever they needed to be locked up.

Our guinea pigs since then (that was 2012) owned our living room. We adjusted everything and even had to throw furnitures we never really used just so we can have bigger space for us and the piggies.

That’s super awesome! My first piggies also didn’t live in proper spacing. They lived in the Oxbow guinea pig cage with the play yard. But I actually came across this forum almost 10 years ago and saw the C&C cages. I love seeing all the cool spaces piggies have on this forum!

We were going to do a C&C cage, husband was all on board and then he changed his mind. Oh well the boys have enough space!

I’ll have to get some updated pictures of the boys! They’ve settled into brotherhood so well together and Horizon is getting so big! I haven’t been on much because we had to buy a new a new car and our AC went out and it’s been a busy few weeks here!

My toddler is standing there dancing in a diaper with a cold piece of pizza watching the boys eat. 😂

Horizon is catching up in size to Blathers these days. I’ll try to get some better pictures in the upcoming days! These is just right now in the moment at veggie time.
