I'm debating moving the goblins downstairs for the summer rather than keeping them upstairs. I don't care if it'll cool down soon, it's too warm now and it's only going to get worse this year, let's be honest.

It might not be warm enough downstairs but if I opened the curtains that'd change. It'll mean a shuffle of the living room but . I need to make sure the tent is still intact, otherwise I'll need new grids and new tarp, the tent will be easier.

However. They'd be stealing the area under the window. My completed jigsaws are in a table in that area. Not looking forward to that part at all, lol.

I agree. It’s only going to get warmer. (Hopefully ). I’ve already got a plan to move the boys to the living room if it gets too hot.

I was thinking to myself it's early compared to last year, but then I remembered the windows makes a helluva difference. Opening the windows upstairs overnight helps, but then the temp drops too much.

I've ordered a bag of back 2 nature and a bag of Kaytee paper bedding for the tent tomorrow. I found Cam digging himself into a cave in the hay, he's definitely not liking this much. Can't say I blame him. I'll move them tomorrow.

Also it's plenty warm enough, I brought one of the room thermometers downstairs. Might be slightly colder overnight but I'm anticipating I'll end up sleeping downstairs as well, it's too warm for me upstairs too.



They're going in here under the window. I need to clear that space out though, including the table. They'll be well away from the wires, but the machine's about to hit full spin and I'm a chicken when that thing goes lol. I'm quite happy right here on the stairs.

The tent is bigger than it looks, 6ft x 3ft. Paper bedding doesn't go very far at all lol. I've another bag of Back2Nature still to arrive because I wanted to be sure I had enough to go round

I might have to move the armchair upstairs. It's either that or the jigsaw table but if I move the table I have to move the jigsaws too and I'm not going to do that. Armchair it'll probably be. If I'm sleeping downstairs I can put the mattress on its side and there'll be room for it upstairs then.

Meanwhile I'm too warm and the downstairs smoke alarm has been screaming at me already. Stupid thing. There's no fire!

Oh they absolutely do. Not sure quite how some of the support staff are going to take it, lol, but it is what it is.

I feel vindicated in my decision because the downstairs temps have been around the same as March ones, I had to close the curtains again at lunchtime.

Cam's spent most of his time doing the quietest rumbles I've ever heard

They've been fairly quiet all day Tbf, but hey, new surroundings. I give it another 12 hours til they work out what the fridge door means, lol. Especially since they'll be downstairs much longer this time round, it was only a few weeks last tkme round.
