I know if any of the piggies get this it's serious, & they need to get to the vet ASAP but is there anything you can do in the meantime. Also what causes Bloat.

Toast gets bloat all the time. Not a week goes by that she doesn't get bloaty. I know grass sets her off and some veg so I avoid that, but I haven't figured out what else does it. She does seem to be VERY sensitive to a lot, some veg, most medications, anesthetic..

It depends how bad the bloat is, my vet gave me Cisapride to deal with it at home and I use infacol too as she gets flare ups so often and I'm able to recognise the signs now, but I'd never recommended giving medication at home without a vet visit first.

I find that tummy massages help whilst sitting her on a cooled down hot water bottle or a snugglesafe heat pad.

I'd definitely see a vet though as bloat can come on very fast and can be severe if left
