Hello,

Bella has a mild case of Bloat (her sides are still soft) I have read that gripe is good to try. How much do you give them?

Thank you!

Hi, I’m struggling to find the post you mean. Do you have a link? I’m hoping it does not get too bad otherwise I will take her to the vet.

Oh sorry I see it’s linked :p not too good at this forum stuff haha

Here is our bloat advice. Bloat, Gi Stasis ( No Gut Movement) And Not Eating

Please see a vet asap if symptoms get worse. Also see a vet if bloating issues continue/recur as there is likely an underlying issue.

You can give up to 0.3 ml of gripe water up to every 3 hours, but see a vet if the bloating is still there tomorrow morning.

She is much better today, still sounding a little hollow on one side but she has deflated a lot. I have started her on gripe now thank you!

If she is still bloated today, please see a vet!

Gripe water can help only so much in mild cases - yours is no longer to be classed as mild with a still soft belly. Once a piggy sounds hollow, it needs stronger and proper anti-bloating meds like zantac.

Bloat comes in waves; DO NOT underestimate it and DO NOT home treat on spec!

Hello sorry had an absolutely manic week. Just want to say thank you for your help, Bella is all better now :)
