Hi all,

My blonde boy Howard appears to have a bit of a bloated tum at the moment. Apart from that he seems in good health - he's pottering around, nibbling hay, jumping up and down onto the ledge on their cage etc so I don't feel unduly worried but any advice or words of wisdom would be great.

Thanks in advance.

@Slingy68 I try to get them eating more hay and get them out for lots of floor time to try to jiggle the gas out.

If they're not wanting to run around and they seem to be suffering a ride in the car can help.

He may have a digestive issue with something he eats so it might be worth investigating to see what it could be. It's usually a certain bit of veg so when I do it I don't feed something for a little while and then add it back in to see if it was that.

I've had pigs who have had issues with green pepper, dill and tomato.

Thank you. I'm trying to stick to hay and a bit of celery at the moment as that's his favourite fresh veg and the one he's always had and never had problems with.

Fingers crossed!
