I just held Mooli and it sounds like he has a blocked nose. I listened to his chest and it is clear. It is just when he breathes through his nose. There is no mucus. He is eating and drinking as normal and very active, chasing the girls. I looked up blocked nose and it all says get the piggy to a vet right away as it could be a URI. My boyfriend thinks I am overreacting by taking him to the vet now. What should I do?

It could be a URI so a vet trip is probably best but my Scrummy sounds like this all the time, she has done for months non stop, make has been to the vet countless times, various injections and ab's have had no effect. But it does not effect or other her atall.

Hope all is okay with Mr Mooli, let us know how it goes x

The vet said 'he is a real feisty one' and just gave him a shot of antibiotics but thinks nothing is wrong. It shows that googling symptoms can be a stress!

Yes google isn't always the best option, always come here!

Glad to hear its nothing sinister, hopefully it ell clear up in a few days.

Xx

I hope that it turns out to be just down to hay dust or pollen!

I would suspect URI only if you get two symptoms from the Guinea Lynx list.
