Blodwen's vet trip tomorrow... wish her luck!

Blodwen has her big scary vet day tomorrow going to Rutland House to see if Dr Molly Varga dares briefly anaesthetise my little wheezy princess for a blood test to check her kidney function, and to biopsy or remove the big mystery lump on her back.
Please wish wonky honky Blod the best of luck! Typically her wheezy honking is worse tonight than its been for months so she might just get sent home with antibiotics and a nebuliser for her awful breathing not the things she's going to the vet for at all lol.
Clover, who cheated death just last week, is giving Blod some top tips on channelling her Lazarus skills to best effect just in case she does get anaesthetised tomorrow. Both these girls seem to have 9 lives and Blod is probably on life number 11 right now... hope she stays lucky...

I feel awful because she's just so happy and relaxed today... but we've waited a month until the summer holidays so we'll both be home all day if she needs nursing care or taking back to the vets in an emergency, and if she needs a blood test and a biopsy better to get it done while she still seems well... just the pesky breathing is a huge worry but it cant be predicted, some days she breathes fine but she can sound like a duck, an owl, a motor bike... today its more like a broken down car that wont start, full of angry geese trying to do gangster rap, with a hint of washing machine? She never gets out of breath but she has a very interesting reptoire of alaming wheezy sounds!

Blodwen is safely back from the vets! She's very cross and absolutely stinks of antiseptic which has upset the whole herd, but she's had a blood test and more urine tests and some xrays- no stones and no sludge at all, which is very good news seeing today's afternoon piggy snack is parsley lol.
And her mystery lump is just a big sebaceous cyst which can be left alone for now.
So all good news today- we get her blood test results tomorrow afternoon to see if there's anything going on with her kidneys or liver, but apart from smelly wee pants there's nothing obviously wrong!
She only cost us £287 today too which is an absolute bargain for Blodwen and for Rutland House
