Hi

I cleaned cage out yesterday i seen nothing of concern.
Today i came to give them some more hay, was pee patches which had red stained sawdust in. Can only guess this is blood.
I came across this thing, that looked like bit of chicken covered in blood.

Ive checked both pigs all look fine.

One thing i did was one of them is alot larger than she was, around her stomach is alot heavier. In another words she looks bloated.

Ive got them both of them in house now, trying to find out which 1 is the unwell one.

I shall be popping into vets tomorrow to get appointment, or if i can do it online ill do that.

Any help or advice here would be great!

thank you

..

hmm do you ever give them beetroot? when I picked my first 2 baby boars up the lady warned us that their pee might look red for a couple hours.. as she had just fed them beetroot.

If not, get them booked into the vets asap.

Blood doesn't always show in urine, but that doesn't mean it isn't there.

Still havent caught which one yet, but i heard the smaller one sneezing so i checked her nose out in good light, noticed its bit runny/snotty.
So i went and checked other one its the same.

Anyone know if link between all these problems?

I'm going get picture of the sawdust see what people think, that am not over reacting lol.
