Thanks guys It was so unexpected, the vet was very pleased with his progress last night to get to this afternoon and have to let him go. By the sounds of it the vet said how poorly he was he must of been ill for some time but he hid it so well The heartbreaking moment was when we put James in the cage so Ed our other piggy could see what had happened he's been very quiet since then! He has been widowed twice now bless him! We have made the choice not to get another pig and give Ed lots of love and attention as he is very hard to bond with, he is very bossy and protective over everything! Poor Ed - it is tough for a piggy to see so many friends die.
Give him time to grieve.
