Looked in the hay part and found a drop or little bit of blood on the easibed under it. I don't know which piggy it came from out of the three but I haven't noticed any injuries that could cause it. I'm checking them over now but I still can't see anything, but I think it came from one of the piggies urine. Any advice? Thank you.

Sorry this hasn't been answered earlier. When this happened to me - I got all my pigs out in separate containers ( pet carriers or buckets will do ) . I waited for each one to wee to see which one was peeing blood.

Sorry I have been out the last few hours. It is most likely a UTI which can be treated with antibiotics (preferably Septrin) and pain relief. The hardest part is working out who it has come from. I would do what Piggy Owner has suggested to find the culprit. Also keep an ear out for anyone squeaking as they pee.

Agree with above/ i normally place mine on a puppy pad as i can see the volume of urine passed as well as colour clearly. Sit them on the bed beside me, watch some tv and wait for wees!

Thanks! Have Ginny out now and can't see any blood, but I'm not sure if he was squeaking or not as I had to answer the phone.

I've nearly officially ruled out Teddy, one of the girls, having the blood. I had her out for a while, no blood in pee or any squeaking. When I returned her to the room, found one of the newspapers just weed on with what I'm sure is a little blood included. I'm going to wait a hour or two before getting either Minja or Ginny out again to test them seeing as one just weed so I'd be waiting a little, then give some cucumber and wait. I'm sure it's Minja :hmm: I would get the three in separate buckets but I've been busy so I couldn't keep an eye on all of them at once.

Incredibly sorry for no update! I still haven't found which piggy it is and haven't seen blood since. I did test them multiple times, but I never saw or heard anything. I've been really busy catching up on going back to school, but I'll continue to try and see which one it is. I would take them all to the vet to see, but money has been incredibly tight lately and all my own money is gone from vet bills. I also have a bad cold or virus (not sure which as I had a virus that supposedly went away recently) and don't want anything being given onto them through bacterial infection(?) or something, so I don't want to get too close to them until it goes away a bit more.
