Yes they can and some piggies absolutely love them! Can guinea pigs eat Blueberries?
We all overindulged in treats at Christmas! They most certainly do. That bit about 'occasional treat' - my grandson took a box up to feed my guys 'a few' on Christmas eve. He came back with an empty box - fortunately it was only a small box.
Eddi @Swissgreys is the forum's most famous blueberry mad guinea big
Like all fruits they should only be given as an occasional treat!
Raspberries are the best for that “zombie/vampire/cannibal” look.Do guinea pigs eat blueberries @Swissgreys ? I think Eddi would say yes hehe. Mine prefer raspberries to blueberries.
What sensible piggies you have!Mine couldn't be persuaded to eat blueberries, until Alice came home and she taught her older brother and sister to enjoy them. Before we got her, I wasted quite a few blueberries due to a "sniff the blueberry - lick the blueberry - go back to eating hay" routine. A few days after Alice came home, I decided to give her a blueberry. Rosie and Maia heard her munching, made a massive SQUEEK and decided they too love blueberries and want to have some.
