Can guinea pigs eat blueberry leaves?

I have a bush but no blueberries yet, but wondered if I could give them the leaves in the meantime.

Hmmmmm, good question. Can't find many details online - if in doubt leave it out. Hoping someone with some knowledge may be around to advise

My Mother In Law swears by blueberry leaf tea, but I don't know I would feed the leaves to my pigs.
I guess a couple wouldn't be harmful, but the problem with a lot of small leaved plants is that they can have quite nutrient dense foliage, and eating large amounts could cause problems.
So as there doesn't seem to be a lot of information available with regards to feeding them to guinea pigs I would probably avoid them.

Not sure. My motto is " If in doubt, leave it out". So unless there is compelling evidence to the contrary I wouldn't feed them to my piggies.
