A few days ago my guinea pigs had a real fight. First they started circling and getting on top of each other. Then the fight began. They were flying! We decided that we would separate them for good. No bites or scratches. 7C889110-0C7B-4CCC-B59B-446E4A3B218A.webp 15A7DEF0-F09F-4897-9D1A-17CF41CD1717.webpBoth of them in their cages. They do not like each other. I hear them growling at each other everyday.

Ar thats a shame, are you going to have the in a cage each now?

If they are that against each other pop something up so they can't see each other.

I am going to post another thread right now about the Guinea Pigs

Me and my family are thinking about neutering the piggies. Should we? Will it help them not to fight? Also, how much would it normally cost to get them neutered in the USA?

I'm not sure of the cost at all but I can tell you that neutering does not alter behaviour at all. If they don't get on now then they won't get in post neuter

I have also merged your two threads. It's helpful when people are trying to advise on your options to know what happened previously with the fighting

The only benefit to neutering will be that should you decide to find them each a new friend, then they will be able to be paired with females. It won’t make the boys like each other again.

That’s a shame, although as everybody has already said, neutering won’t change behaviour
