I had two piggies, brothers ,Munch and Nibble. Munch, a very clever pig, had been very ill, twice and died. I have got Robin from a rescue. He is a nervous boy. I'm having problems bonding them. They argue over their tubes and I'm just not sure how long I give it. We hit Robin about a month ago. There has been no blood spilt.

They will sit together on my lap on the pig cushion, though sometimes Robin will walk away.

Any guidance would be useful.

I am not giving Robin back even though the lady said I could. One way or another I want him to have a good home with me.

Hi!

You may find this guide here helpful as it deals with dysfunctional bonds, how to work out whether you are dealing with a dysfunctional bond or not and your options if they are really not getting on; as I have only your pretty general description of their relationship, I can only try to give you the tools for evaluation. As long as they aren't actively fighting, they may actually be OK.
The usual solutions after a fall-out or failed bonding are living alongside with full body view to allow all levels of communication - voice, body language and pheromones/scent; boar dating at a rescue that offers this service or neutering and bonding with sows after the obligatory 6 weeks post-op wait. You can find further links in the guide as well as links to recommended rescues in several countries.
