Hello I went to a rescue to adopt my beautiful loci and they kindly let me bring Harvey along to choose his companion... As soon as we put Baby Loci and Harvey on neuteral territory Loci ran instantly towards Harvey and snuggled up. Harvey then started liking his ears and his fur and they were soon friends.
When I took them home I let's them run around and play for a while and Harvey started mounting Loci...I heard this is normal but Locsies is quite smaller than my little Harvey ( who's actually nit little at all...)
Also is this a good pairing or maybe not?
I would HATE to get rid or baby Loci....

Hi,
Dont worry - its early here - hopefully more people will be around later to answer your thread :))
I have no boars or experience of boar bonding but I think mounting is probably expected between boars - maybe they are just working out who is top boar.....
From what I've read I think pairing an older boar with a youngster seems to have good results (although some pigs just dont like each other).

Humping is normal, as well as rumblestrutting, chasing each other and mild teeth chattering. How big is your cage? Also make sure you have two lots of bowls and housing.

My two boys mounted each other when they were younger and i first got them, many people pair older boys with younger, it's a perfectly fine companionship, he's just trying to show him who's boss, it will all calm down soon :)

My cage is furplast 120
They seem to get on better now when I took loci out of the cage Harvey started wheeking like mad

This all sounds like totally normal boar behaviour. :)
