Boar Bright Red Blood Bottom.

I posted on here about boars cauliflower penis a couple of days ago. When I was cleaning it today he did a poo and bright red blood came from his bottom
His poo was normal lookinh and subsequent poos are normal no blood in them. I checked his bum with a cotton bud and cleaned it. I pulled a really firm bit of hay out that was stuck up there. Do you think it would be this? Whils cleaning him he practically weed in my face. Not gritty no blood in there. I'm going to make an appointment at vets tomorrow to be on safe side but can this happen with sharp hay? He's acting really well and not ill or anything. Unfortunately I don't think there are specialist vets in my area....Barry Vale of Glamorgan

Yes, it could be the sharp bit of hay, but good that you have him vet checked. He may need an antibiotic.
