we were going to have our single boy Keith castrated but after loosing max last week I couldn't bare the thought of that again so will get a bigger cage than his 120 and would like him to go boar dating, I don't have a car but will be hiring one in September for a week and a half so that will be long enough to give Keith at a rescue to find a friend

It's always worth phoning or emailing to see if there are suitable pigs in the rescue as there are often more animals than appear on the websites.

Thanks Suzy, will do it when I have access to a car for a week so I can travel, our nearest animal rescue won't rehome any rabbit or Guinea pig unless they go in a pair phonef a few months ago looking for a lone bunny for my girl and they refused!

reason being is that the rspca closet to me has said they dont take in boars to match up with other boars as it never works! they only take in neutered boars to match up with girls! as that is the only way to get a pair if they are not brought up together!
