I'm having no luck with finding Nelson a new friend 
I always knew it would be difficult (especially as Freddie and Nelson were such good friends) and it has only been three days of searching, but I thought I'd have got a bit further by now (
I have enquired about eight boars so far and contacted three rescues, none of which were guinea pig specific. The closest one doesn't have any available pigs, the second I can't get hold of and the third say they DO have some boars but they won't allow me to bring Nelson along for a date, and they seemed a bit...funny when I said I had girls, too.
I suppose I just feel a little anxious and a bit in limbo while Nelson is without companionship he has been having supervised cuddles with my girlies and am pleased to say he seems much chirpier today, but I'll be glad when we have something more permanent sorted.
