I'm new to this guys so bear with me.
I collected Gubbins (very recently neutered boar) and Beryl (5.5 year old sow) from Honeybunnies at the weekend. They've been placed in a C&C cage, separated down the middle, until Gubbins is firing blanks
Gubbins is spending a fair amount of time making eyes at Beryl. He's chirrping at her, wiggling his bottom, wheeking etc. Am I being really unfair to him by keeping them so close to each other? Will his 'urges' die down a bit as his hormone levels decrease or is this perfectly normal piggie behaviour? Beryl comes over to say 'hi' but soon gets bored with him and toddles off to the far corner of her enclosure.
I put them side by side because they will eventually be in the same cage and I thought they should get to know one another.
Opinions please ................
