Very angry right now. Relented and cut gus"s back feet nails...and felt wh at I thoufht was a scab on his bum...move hair and what I saw shocked me. This poor piggy has old boar glue ,poop,urine thats drie all that ick. I bathed this poor boy and got some of itoff..and he mustve been unable to poo because he shot out thirty poops and passwd some stinky gas . How ANYONE CAN NEGLECT A PIGGY THAT HIS GLAND GETS THAT BAD IS BEYOND ME! Any way to get the rest off,its to close to his boy parts and in the folds to cut it

Ive got it sorted. Mineral oil, warm water, and twezzersand lots of paticence from gus. His gland was lierally plugged with old glue...and,his bum and lower half of his penis , well nit the inner part thank goodness...just caked up underneath it. I got 99. Persent off....hopefuly after lubing it all with oil..it should work loose whats left. All I have to say,is I have a love pig. Having nails clipped, boy parts and bum poked and prodded whilst being held on his back...two baths....not one week of complaint. He even chomped his eeward orange pepper and gave me kisses. Put him back in his house and hes playing with his bell n hay ball! Su ch a great boy he is!
 
You sound as though you are talking about his wax/grease gland - just above his butt, on his lower back?

Boar glue is not produced there, it is part of the ejaculate and dried to a hard, white substance.

some spots it was hard and white, around his anus it was more yellowish, and below his penis around his testicles it off white. it was hard and like super glue whatever it was
 
The hard white stuff would be boar glue - the yellowy stuff is the grease gland wax. Boys! They have such delightful ways. Ewwww.

Glad to hear you managed to ease it off, must have been uncomfortable for him.

He had sooooo much of it I,truly couldnt leave him like that. I know when * first bring them home ** suppose to leave them alone...but bless him that stuff was yucky. He has pooed and pooed an pooed. I think he was at least halway blocked. He is very active now...so I think he really was in distress. Poor gus...what,a first day home!:)
 
I thought cleaning grease glands was awful, until recently I too had to deal with that ucky boar glue. So I sympathise with you and Gus. Good you took care of it because, judging by my boy, they are more distressed having that guck on them then they are by our efforts to get it off.
