Hello all

I got this lil fuzz ball earlier, and I'm stuck for a name. Any suggestions?

He is a little boy, and my OH, who actually decided that he was his pig, charged me with naming him. I chose the girlies and he named them, so it is only fair.

He is on his own for now, but he will be neutered and introduced to the girlies after the 6 weeks. Fuzz ball is currently hiding in a Seagrass tunnel and eating hay. I can hear him.

So peeps...I need your help with naming him...

Also, agree with @happy_piggy, I've used Nameberry before. I've generally used baby name sites, I've found pet specific ones can be quite limited and uninspired (plus guinea pigs are on par with peoples, certainly not lower, so why should their name choices be restricted? :)))
 
How about "Kirk". Give that your avatar is a character from the original star trek which I've heard is mostly about which alien Kirk gets to hit on each episode.
Given that your boar will have his own little harem...he's a ladies man!

My childhood guinea pig was Snowy (short for Snowball).

Bless him. He's eating gay and ate most of his veggies this morning. He is pooing and weeing, but I haven't seen him drink yet.

I'm not a Kirk fan, to tell the truth Squeakz. I love McCoy, especially Deforest Kelly.

Hence my avatar.

Nobody likes Kirk, I don't think he was a character that was written to be liked. William Shatner is just plain annoying in anything.
 
I don't think my OH is overly comfy with knowing that Snowy's bits are going to be partially removed, and he is concerned because he is on his own. I keep saying that he will be fine...

I will have to get some more pics of him
 
Thanks to everyone here I feel much better about Snowy today. Yesterday I was minutes from taking him back to the adoption centre and putting my beloved girls up for adoption.

I had received a right vicious chewing out over getting Snowy from a shop and planning on getting him neutered and I felt like I had no idea what I was doing and I was a terrible person. I have mental health issues and my anxiety exploded. I literally felt as if I had killed someone. I know the rescues do a fab job, but I was nearly turned off owning piggies yesterday. I will never go to another one again. It was awful.

Don't tempt me...I already have plans to upgrade the C&Ccage by adding another level above and one grid over what they already have. The cage will look a little similar to a double hutch but in a step formation. I will stil do this if Snowy is not accepted by the girls and I have to boar date him to get him a friend.
