Boar with swollen nipple?

Hey one of my boars has a swollen nipple he's had it for a while and I have been keeping a eye on it and it's not getting bigger so I don't think it's cancer. Could it be a type of skin tag? Eny ideas?

I'll get a photo up , I don't think its bothering him he's as happy and squeaking away as usual. I'm just curious to what it is.

There was another piggie on here very recently with a similar problem, and it was a cyst I think. The vet cleared it out and the piggie was fine.

Might be an idea to get him checked out at the vet anyway.

I would recommend having him seen by a piggy savvy vet. It is often very diffucult to give a diagnosis over the internet, and you will only get the proper treatment at a vets.

It was my Rocket who had the abcess, I'd definitely get it checked out with a vet.

There are several things it could be: e.g. abcess/lipoma/cyst..and these are harmless/easily treatable....but because it is a lump near the nipple it really needs to be checked out realtively quickly by a vet so that certain "nasties" can be ruled out/treated before they spread too far.

Ok I will ring the vet, the image won't show because it's the same colour as his fur. I need a better camera... Thanks for advise xx
