Hello all :)

Next year I am going on a two weekish holiday to America. I'm very excited about this as I haven't been on holiday for years!

Anyway I plan on putting the girls and Rory in for boarding so technically they get a holiday too. Only downside is that the lady I wanted to put my piggies with might be moving away *fingers crossed she doesn't* anyway just in case, are there any boarders anyone can recommend in the Nottinghamshire area?

My mother in law has offered to look after them but I know she's worried about if something happens and I wouldn't want to put that kind of stress on her. Also because of the daily clean outs and expenses of fruit and veggies ... Help?

we are away for 2 weeks this year but my folks are coming here to stay... none are used to handling the piggies but i know they will be fed and watered and cleaned out whilst we are away.. i fear i will be face timing them each day to check in on the piggies....

My cousins been doing it for years now, his business has been mentioned in the newspaper etc. He's a nice bloke as well :)

HI everyone, thank you for the responses.

I've been looking at all the suggestions at some point closer to the time I will make contact, my only issue is the pricing. The lady I originally want to take my piggies too would charge £25.00 a week instead of per day charge... I looked at another boarder on Google and they wanted £5.50 per day per pet. Do you think the boarders company would agree some form of discount for the length of time they have them and because there are 7 also...

it does work out a lot, i looked at boarding at White Post Farm where our girlies were from but it would've added up to £150 onto our hols... Luckily my folks are happy to have a holiday here for free lol... plus my mum will clean all the house while we are away ha ha ha

lol haha, yeah it does add up. My friend asked why I don't do it for people, it's because I just don't have enough room. I'd only be able to take a cage at a time rofl.

Went into shock when we added one of the prices up! Would've cost around £800.00 that's why I was wondering if there could be discount of a large group of piggies or charge a bulk amount for all 7

7 piggies... i would contact them now and get them all booked in lol ! You would probably get a discount and say you will advertise for them lol !
