Over Christmas it is likely we will be away for 5 days. Initially I thought I would ask my in-laws to look after the piggies but because they have both been unwell I thought it maybe best to leave them with someone who is experienced.

The local rescue home will take them but they will be housed in a room attached to the house, however, there is no heating. They are indoor piggies so I am concerned that this maybe too cold for them. She said she puts loads of hay in and gives them snuggle safes. Would they be warm enough?

Great, thank you. I’d much rather leave them with her as she knows what she is doing.

I would ask about the temperature in the room they will be kept in.
As long as the change isn't too dramatic then they should be fine with additional hay and snuggle safes.
