Hi there - may I ask for some advice? I’m looking for guinea pig boarding for my four guinea pigs (1 older neutered boar and 3 young sows), as I'll be away next month.
I live in Central London and don't have a driving licence, so I'm looking for somewhere reasonably accessible by Uber or public transport. I've noticed that most places only accommodate up to three guinea pigs in a cage at a time -- would it be an issue if I split them into two pairs for 5-6 days?

I can’t help with a boarding suggestion but in terms of splitting them up - if you could request that their cages are side by side then hopefully they bond could remain in contact.
Whether they could be side by side or not, if you have to split them up then you would have to go through neutral territory reintroduction when you got them home

Sorry I can’t help with a boarding recommendation.
Personally I would get in touch & ask anywhere you are considering if they can accommodate your 4piggies together. All of our boarding places we have picked (x4 now due to 2 retirements) have been happy to adapt and accommodate our wishes.

Thank you so much @Piggies&buns and @AidaB for the helpful advice! I definitely don't want to risk breaking their bond, and luckily I found a boarding place that can accommodate us with an extra-large cage. All sorted now!
Good to hear. Would you be OK to share the name of the business? I'm in London (not central though) and am interested to hear of boarding places in case I might need one one day 🏡

I used to board my pair of boars (rip) at A Furry World, but unfortunately they can’t accommodate four. The one I'm going for is called The Rodent Ranch.
