i don't think my two boys like each other much, they sleep at separate ends of the cage they get into a lot of scuffles teeth chattering and chasing a few times they have lunged at one an other, I know I might sound silly but neither of them seem happy they both seem like they don't want to be near the other, floor time isn't any better they tend to just sit/lay in one spot, can anyone help my two be happy

Give them as big a cage as you can, and two of everything to prevent arguments, like hay areas, water bottles, food dishes, hideys.

When they have their scuffles do they fight? Draw blood?

Almost all of my pairs of boars have never noticeably been close. They'll sleep apart and do their own thing, but there is times when they interact and it's worth keeping them together.

As long as the scuffles aren't vicious I think they're fine and I'd personally leave them be.

But if you really don't like it then the other option is to separate them. Pigs are social animals and so you would need to pair them up again, and 4 pigs can be significantly more costly than 2.

Good luck!

They don't draw blood and I don't have the space for 4 piggies although I would love to have more

I'd try giving them two of everything to see if that prevents squabbles.

Two of my boys aren't great friends but they tolerate each other. They do have a bit of a tiff if only one of their pellet bowls has pellets left over and they both try to eat out of it.

Hi! Boars that have not been character matched can get into trouble, especially when they hit the teenage hormones at 4-14 months old. You may find this guide here helpful. It lists in full detail what is going on, what you can do, when you need to separate and what your options are if a boar bond doesn't work out: Boars: Bullying, Fighting, Fall-outs And What Next?
