Here he is btw. First slave didn't want to show him until he was home with us, but she's so excited I'm very excited too! I dont know about what. I'm just very happy when slave is happy.

Slave is happy maleslave agreed to new pigs. First two weeks after Kongo left us I was very done too, I just wanted to enjoy Harry and spoil him. But everything comes with a little but... I dont feel like a very good piggy-slave when they live alone. I truly know better about their social needs. I still think a lonely pig can be happy - like Kongo - but most pigs does not. And even a**holes like Kongo is enjoying having another pig around.

Our plan is to send this little boy to the plum-fairy. When Harry leaves us its so much easier with this bonding-thing if we can get him a wife. I adore boars, but they are trouble!

To get a boy from a small breeder is also a bit of warranty for us this little one does not have any geneticall toofie-things. I know the light struck us very hard with this the past years, four out of seven... and Joe and Kongo was not something geneticall, though. Pikachu and Djingis was. For me we just minimized the chance with 50%!

And looking the truth in the eye when you realize this piggy-loop soon can be over... I'm not done yet. Really not. My heart is very sore because Kongo was my big love and its hard to imagine me loving another pig that much. Well, maybe I will, maybe I wont. I will still love it. Everyone cant be Kongo.

Kongo was a forum legend. What you need to remember is you gave the Kongo Nation lots of happy todays and you have lots of happy memories of him.

And; I had Kongo for almost three years. Have to remember that ofc we grew close. I'm tight with Harry too, he was very easy to bond with because his just jolly and nice and during these weeks without Kongo we've grown really close. Have to give the baby some time too!

Well, I got a extra good cuddle after that. And some treats. Slave is forgiven.
 
Another question from Harrys slave:

When I pick the baby up on Monday, I will put him in our carrier. The carrier will be filled with blankets for him to hide in. Should one blankie smell of Harry? Is that calming or stressing for him? With an older boar I would ofc take a clean or new blankie but the baby will probably be so scared. His coming to Stockholm by train and will have company with his brothers on the train, but then this scary hooman will just take him away. I just want to comfort him as much as I can.
 
I put Pinky in a clean carrier with hay and 1 blanket when I got him. I’m not sure if there is a wrong or right way to do it.

I suppose baby could feel he has then “met” Harry before the bonding but Harry hasn’t “met” him. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Good luck. I really hope the bonding goes as smoothly as Patrick and Pinky 😍
