Neither was I to start with. Very often the Ever Beautiful Betsy 🌈 (the star of the show) went with one side hacked and the other side long until she'd calmed down enough for me to attempt a hack at the other side. Both of us learned together. Me to slowly change from a quick hack job to a decent fashionable wedge cut and her to stay still enough to let me do it.

Besides from Joe Harry is my first longhaired pig. Joe didnt need other than a regular bum-trim which he truly hated. Harry is very nice and easy to handle but its still... So much hair! He has started to protest alot when I want to brush him, so its hard to "brush him out" too because I'm a softie! Lets hope this little baby is a nice one, but I saw his glare at me... His absolutely trouble!

"That cheap cucumber-trick does not fool me!" Baby says. Harry couldn't resist though.

Now I left the building to visit the store, I hope that will push them out... I was sitting next to the pen working at the computer at first, then I went cleaning their regular cage and tried to be invisible. Did not work. The box jumps around, purrs and talks alot. Its like I dont have any Guinea pig, I have a box!

There you are Harrys baby! I'm so happy to see you!
(What slaves yells about? Something about I drove over him and did mashed baby of him... Blah blah blah. Its my baby, I do whatever I want to!)
 
I took the sad box out and Happy Harry got babyfever and forgot his an old man. Those hips will hurt tomorrow! But when Ben cries out he stops. Looks a bit "oh sh*t!", and three seconds later his on it again... I would definitely say its a very balanced domination behaviour going on. He lets Ben eat, and he lets Ben eat soup from his face (yeah, it was my best way to evict them from the box...). Ben has been given us some popcorns and happy runs (no real zoomies yet). They've been in the pen for 12 hours now. When can they go home to their cage? I dont want to stress little Mister Ben too much. I did a full clean earlier today and there's two houses in there, both with two entries.

Glad it’s gone so well. I always leave them overnight.

I'll give them a second tunnel to hide in when I go to bed. They both fall asleep pretty hard right now - Ben outside the tunnel, Harry inside the tunnel.

Harry is so happy! He just shines. I could almost hear him giggle when he and Ben played Follow the Leader before. Ben chased Harry, but he was a bit too quick so he passed and Harry got so confused and Ben got so happy and popcorned!

We want to think they are fine of their own when we want them to be fine.... And yes, he's been fine. Good. But not golden or great. Not his best life and the life he deserves! I'm very happy we took this decision.
