A throwback from a critical care-session with Joey from 2024. He truly hated critical care, but enjoyed to snuggle and to have a piece of basil for every third syringe. A very good feeding was around 15-18ml, often I had to give up around 12ml. Crazy to think about when Kongo happily took 43ml just for breakfast and I have a soupcrazy Harry that could trade Ben for a syringe-lunch 😂

Oh, I did. And if he ever does I will trade his mama for a new hammock! //Benny

Joe was a very special little boy. So strong! I still cant really believe the way he had to leave us, it was so brutal.
The very fascinating thing with Joe is that he was so friendly towards other pigs. Before Chip came to us and I didn't have the same knowledge about bonding, I let him and Pika have playdates on the balcony. They were so sweet towards each other, and zoomed away and back. Had some food together, slept and chill. Then he went back home to wife Bob (who not was nice towards Pika). When Bob passed and I bonded him with Chip it was lovely to see them together from the first minute. He even forgave Kongo the a*hole as soon as I put up the divider and he loved to socialize with Kongo as soon as the divider was up. He truly was a one man-pig, and I had to work really hard for his acceptance but Jesus I loved that little diva!

The true scenery in this cage: Ben is jumping and running around, Harry just looks at him and eats. Right now Benny has a very strange haircut and a very small head. He really looks like a teenager in every way. Funny and undone!

But he's so cute and happy. To take Benny home really was the best for Harry. Benny does not challenge Harrys place as the boss at all, but you dont have to listen to your boss all the time! Ben thinks its so fun to annoy Harry and we can truly hear him giggle every time he annoyed Harry so good he needs to chase him. Harry doesn't have a chance to keep Bens speed.

I love watching them being Harry and Benny. Benny wants to play, Harry wants to snuggle. I often find them in the hayspa together. Its so fun to see Benny try to copy what Harry does. Yesterday he blocked Harrys way to the loft. Harry was standing at the ramp telling at him and Benny had such a happy seizure going on. He tried not to jump away of happiness and it was haaaard 😂
