Two of our boars, Storm and Snow had fur mites, we could see like black dust on Snow's rump, it was confirmed by a vet.

So I bought some lice n easy, washed them in that, waited a couple of days and treated them with the spot on stuff, we've done the drops for the past 3 weeks but they are still itching. The black dust or dandruff has gone from Snow. Could there be another problem?

I have ordered a melt and a shampoo from Gorgeous Guinea's who said they COULD have a skin problem. We can't see anything wrong with their skin but as I don't like to see them itching all of the time (it's not lots and lots but it's more than I see our other guinea's itching) I thought I'd give them ago. I'm hoping they are delivered tomorrow.

Should we try the lice n easy on them one last time?

I have no advice but will be watching this thread with interest. My boys were treated for hay mites at the beginning of the year - took 3 months to get them sorted and were given the all clear from the vet. They still scratch quite frequently although their fur/skin looks healthy. I wonder if it is just a habit they are in now.
