I read in an admittedly outdated book that you can feed the following items
chopped boiled egg, milk, nuts and seed, and lastly grated cheese!

so yes or no?

Dairy, nuts and seeds are all foods that are bad for piggies. It is a recipe for how NOT to feed your piggies...

thought as much the book also stated pigs have to be single...... and that breeding is the best way to get pigs... so file 13 i think

How old is the book, we have come along way since it was published I think, a definate no to all of those foods.

its a book called 'A Guide to owning a guinea pig' by Graham J Edsel. i think its about 20 years old. you can just read through and go 'wrong wrong wrong'
