has any one tried this i have read in a guinea pig book that it is good for when they have got the runs
 
never tried it although i dont feed anything but fruit,veg,hay,grass and pellets,i dont think i would feed them anything thats been cooked,i hope someone can help more xxxxxxx
 
What guinea pig book was that? Never heard of it to be honest and not what all you read in guinea pig books in right. I wouldn't give it, I know dogs can have it as my Monty did when he had an upset tummy but would imagine it would be too starchy for guinea pigs. :)
 
when honey had the runs i gave her just hay and dryed bread for a couple of hours and that seemed to work. I once read in a guinea pig book that to know its gender you look under its tail:))lol I'v never tried rice before:)
 
you are going to love this some of you book is guinea pig rodents about pets £3.99 p@h says diarrhoea should piggies get this take all moist food out of cage and feed dry bread boiled rice crispbread replace water with luke warm camomile tea ANY ONE FOR A CUPPA
