My little lady is in her operation as we speak, we had huge cuddles and words this morning!

Took her in at 8am and this has been the longest morning! Everytime the phone rings I feel sick :-(

Fingers and toes crossed all is going well x

thinking of you and Bon Bon today. Sending her lots of healing vibes x

Most of us have had this at some point...I'm not good when any of our piggies have been left at the Vets :...
It's the waiting...and waiting...and clock watching...and clock watching...
Just concentrate and focus on seeing Bon Bon later, bringing her home to care for and pamper her when she needs you.
Hugs sent and healing vibes for little one x>> x>>

I feel for you, I've not yet had poorly piggies but have lost two older dogs in the last three years so I know what it's like to be worried and dread the phone call. But please try to be positive and I hope Bon Bon will be fine and wheeking away in no time.

Thank you all,

Bon Bon is now home safely and I am shocked to say has gone straight for the food bowl after the syringe/hand feeding stress of the past few days.

I'm sure she is exhausted so she is in the indoor cage for now but am going to take her out a little later once she has chilled a bit to say hello to her sister who I am sure is wondering why she has the big hutch all to herself. xx

That's excellent - so pleased for you both :)
They really can be hardy little things at times.
Give Bon Bon a gentle cuddle from us x

How is Bon Bon today? x

She has drank A LOT, she has been to visit her sister in the hutch for an hour as well (in which I sat on the floor outside so that they didn't get up to any mischief).

Food wise, she has managed some dried today for the first time in days, granted she skipped over it afterwards for the fresh veggies haha!

She has taken to running in circles for about a minute at a time - she squeaks after she has done so happily but worrying this isn't good for her, any advice as to why she may be doing this? I did wonder if it was because she has lost her sight and she is finding her bearings, but she knows where the food and water is and has made her way into the sleep side just fine. Really odd, but she has done it a few times today.

So far so good, she looks rather adorable with her shaven face and stitched up eye, keep telling her she is still a beauty to me :-)

Her sister was very good with her and just sniffed her eye (not tempted to go for stitches or anything which pleased me.)

xx
