Gripe waterwas a godsend. My little BonBon is making good progress, gaining weight, no longer drooling, her eyes are bright and not watery any more, and she's no longer sounding nasal.
After 15 months of being under par and loosing weight, she's finally started bossing her siblings around, and eating everything on sight again.
We've still got a way to go, as after a 70g weight gain, she's still got 150-200g to gain, and even if she just makes 900g i'll be happy, after all she is 5 this year, I don't expect her to get back to her old weight of 1.2kg.
Now, just have to research on acid reflux in guinea pigs, as it seems to have not only caused her to have a bad tummy, but a sore throat too, which would explain her inability to squeak properly.

If you compare this to how she was just one week ago, this is an amazing turn around. I honestly thought I was going to loose her, then over the course of five days, she changed from looking ill and fluffed up, to slowly back into her old self, inquisitive and into everything, and making it clear to her younger cage mates, she's boss and she's back!
:yahoo:

Awww bless her, so pleased she is on the mend. Gorgeous girly. Made your photos bigger for you

It's wonderful that Bonbon is finally on the mend. Hope she continues to put on weight!:D

She's got a lot of will power and that's for sure :D she's not on any pain relief apart from the gripe water, so I think we've narrowed her problem down to her digestive system. I think this has to be linked to gas in her stomach, but have no idea how it started, and she's never expressed an obvious discomfort, just through gradual weightloss.
I'm allowing her body to heal from inside out, before I take her off the gripe, I think if I do it too soon, she'll become ill again.

Some of you might not be able to see this, but i'll re-load it later onto youtube and try again. BonBon and lap time :) (Her hair is growing back on her legs and around her eyes, and on her belly too) she still has staining on her chest and chin, but hoping that clears with time.

She is simply gorgeous, and what a little trooper with all she has had to go through...
