Rob Collins
Junior Guinea Pig
Hello - here is the story.
2 -x 2 year old fairly boned sows (not super friendly but get along ok)
Introduced a baby sow - this seemed to improve all three.
Cage is big C&C (24 square foot)
I started letting them onto the lounge floor with mats and hay for a day at a time for a change, and into garden then back into the cage. They were fine at first but the two older sows are now going through real stand-offs, submission squeaking and almost getting into fights. What's going on? Has the constant change of scene upset their bond? I thought the changes would make life more interesting for them? But perhaps they just prefer their cage 24/7? Any advice greatly appreciated.
