Personally I wouldn't even contemplate trying to bond 2 established adult pairs of males together. I think it would be a recipe for disaster! I really wouldn't advise you try it Callie. If they are happy in their existing pairs, why spoil a good thing
Interesting to hear about sars experiences though.
I like starshine don't advocate keeping more than 2 males together and never re-home more than this to live in the same pen.
That said, I'm honest enough to say that I have no personal experience of multiple males (more than 2) living together and I do tend to stick to what really amounts to "hearsay" when it comes to how many boars can live in one pen!
As always we have to acknowledge that it is all down to their personality and the available space.
That said as a rescuer, I have to err on the side of caution sometimes, so wouldn't place more than 2 baby boars in the same home. Or a single baby boar to go in with two other males. No offence intended to those that keep their guinea pigs this way though

You know your guineas, I don't.
I would love to have the space to try a trio of boars together, but would only personally do so if they were all from the same litter.
Unlikely in the near future though
