Black piggies
Senior Guinea Pig
I now have 2 pairs, my very dominant sow Shadow bonded nicely a couple days ago to little Bertie boy, though he's a handful for one sow.
Living alongside are 2 Peruvians, the dominant one is 5 years old, extremely underweight congenitally (stable at 670g), the rescue said she may not last much longer, but she's sprightly at the moment. She's always mounting her friend, who squeals in submission, then they sleep together, very tight bond.
Should I wait until tiny floof passes and then bond the remaining three? I don't want tiny floof to be stressed by Shadow being boss, which she will be, given tiny floof puts so much effort into being boss in her pair?
It'd be handy for me to bond them all, but I don't want her to be unhappy losing her status and tight friendship, and die miserable.
