Bonding 2 Pairs

Thanks @Gem789 - that’s how I felt yesterday.
This morning all seems more peaceful- no noise or terrorising going on.
It just took me by surprise when Priscilla decided to show that really she was a bossy girl with ATTITUDE.
Typical teenager really.

Jemimah is still wary but I hope she will soon settle.

I really appreciate the opportunity to talk out things on the forum and benefit from your experience.
Thank you.

All seems to be settling down. Priscilla hasn’t attacked anyone today!
Still a bit of wariness but they do seem to be calming down.
They all shared nicely with the vegetables this afternoon.
Extra pic of little Phoebe because she’s so cute

Last post from me on this thread.
Today was the first cage clean since bonding so first floor time for Priscilla and Phoebe.
They are all getting on well now.
Merab is just being Merab and doing whatever she wants.
Jemimah has more or less got over being wary of Priscilla who has calmed down.
Phoebe seems to have bonded well with Merab and Jemimah.
She’s still skittish but getting bolder.
She had to be in a snuggle pouch to be lifted in and out of the cage and spent most of the time with Jemimah behind a box. Priscilla had her first trim - I don’t think I should give up the day job. She wouldn’t stay on the table for me but wanted to be on my lap for fur trimming.

All piggies happily back in a clean cage, 1 happy slave and a floor that needs attention from a vacuum cleaner.

So glad they are getting on well now, and you sharing your experiences on the forum is really useful- we are thinking of adopting another pair of girls from just up the road from us (lovely owner who doesnt want to part with them but feels he cant look after them properly, but wants them to meet the right family) so hopefully I will be re-reading all your experiences and all Wiebke's advice about this! One is a rosettey floof piggy so if all goes well we'll need hair care advice too :)

That's so funny :)
I'll keep everyone posted what happens re extra piggies. I'm a bit embarrassed to take Piggle round to someone's house for a piggy date because she's a bit... special? But she'd probably benefit most from some extra friends. I'm tempted to just take Lady Puggle and pretend they are both that polite and friendly. These piggies and their owner sound a bit posh (even though their cage is too small... I recognise that P@H signature starter cage in their profile pic!)

Looking forward to your special thread now. Glad mine was helpful.
Hope the visit goes well

I used these guides for Priscilla- except used the coffee table as I couldn’t be bothered setting up the ironing board.
It would have been easier if Priscilla read them too!
Pleased they helped somebody! Betsy is used to a haircut as she's had them every 6-8 weeks for over 2 years. She wasn't keen for about a year though!
