Hey everyone,

I have two male piggies. I most recently had three, but he unfortunately passed.
I tried bonding the three when they were younger, for I read that it’s best to try to bond them when they’re young.
The younger Roofus, is 2, and the older, Apollo, is 3.

Before my third had passed, he was very sick, and I really wanted to bond him with Roofus. I did want to wait until Peanut (the 3rd) was healthy again before exposing and re-introducing him again to Roofus , for obvious reasons.
Apollo is the tough one, I feel, because he’s very dominant. He’s the biggest and oldest, as he knows, so he most often does the mounting.

The issue I’ve always had is:
Roofus is dominant, too, so they show aggression when trying to establish dominance. It got pretty scary before.
I would really like to bond Apollo and Roofus, if I still could. Maybe it’ll be easier since I read piggies work best in pairs or even numbers anyways?
I work a lot and I can’t always give them the time and affection I know they require (although I still give them a lot of attention, I just know it’s probably not enough sometimes).

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

@Kats.username Boar trios are very difficult, pairs work much better.

Try bonding them in a nice big area that neither know. And do it when you have time to supervise.
