Bonding failed

Hey everyone. I had tried rebonding my two guinea pigs asuna and Mochi and both attempts havent worked out. I had originally separated at my vets suggestion due to a case of ringworm with asuna. I read the bonding forum up top and it said to still put them in adjaceng cages so that they get the social interraction they need, but theyve been doing a lot of domminance behaviors, stare downs and what looks to me like semi aggressive behaviors through the bars of their cages. Is this normal as they just get used to being within sight of each other? Or should i put a sight barrier up again....

Hi!

I am very sorry that your two won't go back together. The dominance behaviour is very normal and should die down over the course of the next few days. Unfortunately, it looks like there is some genuine grudge between them! :(

That's great! I was so sorry for you when I saw that they weren't rebonding but it's fab how you've got some new friends for them!
 
Congratulations - that’s wonderful news.
Looking forward to lots more pictures of Minnie - she’s a beauty
